Nutella Ice Cream

Finding an old jar of Nutella in my cupboard, I decided to make ice cream with it using Sugarlaws‘ recipe for Nutella ice cream. The secret ingredient is vodka to keep the ice cream soft.

I enjoy spreading this chocolate hazelnut spread on toast, but in order to use up the rest of this old jar, ice cream was the perfect solution!

The batter for the Nutella ice cream only requires five ingredients.

The Nutella remained flecked throughout the ice cream. Its flavor was prominent throughout each bite. Because of the vodka, the Nutella ice cream maintained a soft consistency like soft serve.
